Olivier Arson, together with another special line-up of his shifting TERRITOIRE will play the score of "Thoughts are born", the new work by British composer Mica Levi. Featuring strings and woodwinds, the piece is set to be performed in total darkness and centres around a strong, white spotlight that dictates the intervention of the musicians. Performances starts on october 2nd at the Cineteca of Matadero Madrid.

Antidisturbios (Riot Police), the new serie from Rodrigo Sorogoyen for Movistar+ premieres this week in the Official Selection of the 68th edition of the San Sebastian Film Festival. It's the first time the festival shows a TV serie in its entire duration in its famous hall Kursaal. The original soundtrack created by Olivier Arson is an emotional and sensorial take on the subject, that both applies pressure and shine above the characters and the story.

From December 12th to 15th, XLR Estudio in collaboration with Olivier Arson will present REFRACCIÓN, an audiovisual live show commissioned by Acciona and the Prado Museum for its bicentenary celebrations finale. The work takes on the Goya façade of the building to propose a visual and sensorial action. The music will be performed live with a string quartet and three flautists under the conduction of Álvaro Domínguez.

The soundtrack for La Zona is finally out through Quartet Records. It features 5 unique pieces from the original 8 hours of music created for the series, containing both rearranged cues and entirely new material.

Madre, the new movie from Rodrigo Sorogoyen has been selected in the out-of-competition section Orizzonti of the 76th Venice Film Festival. The continuation of the Oscar nominated and Goya winner, homonymous short film, will also inaugurate the 16th edition of the Seville Film Festival and arrive in Spanish cinemas on November. The original soundtrack created by Olivier Arson is a short exercise on a delicate, fragile strings sound and discreetly luminous music.

Olivier Arson gave an extensive masterclass at the 34th edition of Cinema Jove in Valencia as part of the cycle Beats & Frames. He also took part in the Encounters with composers at the MOSMA 2019 in Málaga. Moderated by Isabel Vázquez, the short conference focused on early experiences, influences and the variety of its work.

Olivier Arson attended the VI edition of the Ibero-American cinema in Riviera Maya, Mexico, although the score by Alberto Iglesias for Yuli was the winner for the night. Antonio de la Torre (best actor) and Alberto del Campo (best editing) both won 2 awards for El Reino.

TERRITOIRE, 5 years after their first show at Sónar, will be back in Barcelona to perform Alix, their most recent work co-produced by Spanish electronic legend Oscar Mulero. TERRITOIRE is set to play on Saturday 20 (exceptionnally in July this year) at SonarHall.

El Reino is also the winner of the night with 7 awards in total from its 13 nominations, including Best Director and Best Script. The movie will now premiere for the second time in Spain hitting over 160 theatres and will soon start its international distribution.

El Reino also tops the nominations for the Goya Awards 2019 with 13 candidacies including Best Film, Best Direction and the soundtrack for Best Original Music. The gala of the 33 edition of Spain main national annual film awards will be held on February 2 in Sevilla.

Rodrigo Sorogoyen's film El Reino monopolizes the candidacies of the Feroz Awards 2019 with ten nominations in the film section, including best dramatic film, direction, script and original music. The gala of the VI edition will be held on January 19 in Bilbao.

TERRITOIRE joins the Roadburn 2019 lineup and will perform this year's haunting album, Alix, in full. Weekend tickets and 3/4 day passes are available now and single day tickets will go on sale on December 13.

The soundtrack of El Reino is available from today on all streaming platforms and the CD edition will be released in january 2019 through Quartet Records featuring previously unheard material from the soundtrack original recordings.

The new film of Rodrigo Sorogoyen, political thriller El Reino (The Realm for its international distribution), will be playing in theatres next week after the premieres at the festivals of Toronto, San Sebastian and London.

After a release concert in Madrid, TERRITOIRE will be playing a string of shows in northern Spain: Dantz Festival in San Sebastian on august 31, WOS Festival in Santiago de Compostela on september 13 as well as a special performance at the old weapon factory of Oviedo on october 6 and Bicefal Fest in Barcelona on december 8.

With 3 nominations, La Zona has won the Best Drama award for TV series at the Feroz this year. Emma Suarez also gets the Best Leading Actress.

After its success in Spain, La Zona will be distributed in the US through the premium channel Starz. La Zona also lands in France today on the Canal group channel Polar+ and will be emited in September in Germany on public channel ZDF.

Five years after Mandorle, Alix, the second LP of TERRITOIRE, is out today on Humo. Inspired by a story of slavery, it is produced by Oscar Mulero and with the audiovisual artist Tasio.

I was yesterday in Madrid to talk about the sound and music universe of La Zona with the students of TAI.

Madre, the last movie by Rodrigo Sorogoyen, a 16 minutes nearly sequence-shot story, has won the the Goya Award for Best Fiction Short Movie. After winning more than 100 awards, the movie is also shortlisted for the Oscar 2019.

The first in-house production of movistar+, La Zona has been premiered today at the Sitges Festival and will be available for streaming on october 27. The serie, created by Jorge and Alberto Sánchez-Cabezudo, reflects on the aftermath of a nuclear accident in northern Spain.

Que Dios Nos Perdone gets its releases in France this wednesday through the distribution by Le Pacte.
